The Haggerty family has lived in West Huntingdon for 140 years. Jim Haggerty and his wife Diane live in the stone house Jim grew up in which his ancestors built.

Jeff and Jen Ferguson and their two small sons, Owen and Eric live at Springbrook Farm on Squire Road south of Springbrook in Stirling-Rawdon. The farm was owned by Jeff’s grandparents Ron and Ethel Rahm for 30 years. Jeff works as a driver with Campbellford Farm Supply.
They have a small herd of pigs and sell pork cuts and lean sausages at the local farmers’ markets. They also sell beef, free range chicken, and hay.
Richard and Beth Wismer live at Beckett Farms high up in Stirling-Rawdon. One gets a wonderful view from their Beckett Berries strawberry field west to the Northumberland hills.
Lynn Davis, his mother Bernice Davis and Carol Counts run Windy Wold Farm in the hills south of Maple Leaf. Lynn is a pilot with Air Canada and Carol is an art teacher.
The Durkin family has been farming in Tyendinaga Township since the area was settled nearly 200 years ago. For the past 40 years they have run the farm as a beef farm.
Mike and Linda Murphy farm on Murphy Road on the rolling hills south west of Tweed. They rear beef cattle, make hay, make maple syrup, grow potatoes and vegetables.
