Margit and Ivar Heissler operate a small farm north of Wellman’s Corners, south of Springbrook, west of Highway 14, east of Wingfield Road, at 910 Hoover Road. Ivar grows, as organically as possible, all kinds of vegetables from garlic to Brussels sprouts, and also strawberries, gooseberries and raspberries. They start harvesting asparagus on June 1, then come th strawberres and raspberries peas, Swiss card, beets, and carrots. We grow a wide range of traditional vegetables, nothing exotic in our three acre organic garden, Margit makes jams, greeting cards from original photographs and folk art; she also sews and paints. We sell at the Campbellford Farmers Market (Wednesdays and Saturdays 8:00 am to noon from the beginning of May to the end of October) and also from the house (please call first).

Our motto is: We only sell what we make and grow.
