We can get a variety of organically grown apples at Kupecz Family Farms. These include:Russet apples are greenish gold, They are slightly flattened medium to large. The flesh is sweet, aromatic and slightly acid. One can use Russet apples for making cider, eating and for drying. They are great for apple pies. They ripens in mid-October and store well through the winter.

Paula Red originated from a chance seedling, possibly from a Cortland apple. The apples are roundish or oblate. It is a medium sized apple. The flesh white, juicy, very firm, crisp, fine-grained. The flavor is strong vinous or strawberry-like, sub acid, tart, sprightly. Paula Red is a good dessert apple for cooking or eating fresh. It is available at the beginning of September.
