If you are bored with iceberg lettuce or romaine you can chose from a variety of different types of lettuces and mesclun without chemicals at Springhill Farm Vegetable Gardens. Steve is at the Stirling Farmers Market on Saturdays and you can stop by the farm during the week to get freshly picked lettuces and other vegetables as they come into season.

Red Sails – deep bronze leaf lettuce, with soft, sweet leaves.

Hilde-Neckarriesen – Large white Boston type, European selection.

Shining Star – Fresh medium dark green, Waldman type.

Panther MI – New dark green, tall Romaine

Sierra – Batavian heading type, with red and green bitter free leaves.

Summertime – crisphead, excellent quality in summer
