It is going to be a great market season for Stirling and we hope you will join us. The Stirling Farmers Market was a great success last year; with its bright white tents attracting people to buy produce, bake goods, preserves and crafts. The Stirling BIA would like to thank all individuals who participated last year and helped with the market activities. Market hours are Saturdays from May 24 weekend to Thanksgiving weekend from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Village Square on Saturday is the place to be. The atmosphere is friendly, thanks to the members of the Madoc Market Vendors’ Association. They provide excellent products and excellent friendly service as well. The market has become a focal point where residents, as well as visitors, can meet, enjoy a coffee, socialize as well as shop.
Whether you are interested in selling or buying fresh local homegrown produce, home-baking or handmade crafts, you will find a wide variety at the market. We try to host an array of products to encourage people that they are able to find anything they want at our market. Interesting gift items can often be personalized. Special requests are accommodated where possible.
This market is becoming well known, not only for its atmosphere but for its weekly barbecue with a venue of products from our local farmers being the highlights of our barbecue. The market provides local and guest musicians and singers a venue to showcase their talents. Community and Service groups are also encouraged to take part as well, and there are special contests, draws, informative displays and theme days.
The Village Square is wheelchair accessible and well-maintained washrooms are available on site. Free parking is available in several convenient locations in the village.
While visiting the charming village of Madoc, in the heart of Comfort Country, be sure to enjoy the local shops and restaurants but above all, don’t miss the Madoc Market.
As you have seen from the overview the market offers a highly visible spot to promote your community group/organization or event.
We offer space to do this every Saturdays and Sundays. We do offer daily or season spots. Please be date specific so we can include you
