Maines Harvest Farm

Stephen and Vicki Maines and their three children are diversifying their farm into agri-tourism.  After dairy farming for 30 years, the main farm, which operates as a partnership with Stephen's parents Garnie and Monica Maines and his brother Brian, now functions as a cow/calf and cash crop operation over 300 acres.  In 2010 the family ventured into the area of agri-tourism when they invited tourists to the farm to visit their first year pumpkin crop.  Over 1,000 glorious pumpkins on one acre - a very successful first year!  That autumn, people from all over Ontario enjoyed the beautiful fall colours and visited the farm to pick out their pumpkins.

The Maines family invites your family to make a visit to Maines Harvest Farm a fun part of your Thanksgiving and Halloween traditions. Watch the delight of your little ones as they explore the pumpkin patch looking for their perfect pumpkin. On October weekends, weather permitting, enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride through the beautiful acres of Hastings County farmland.
