Palmateer's Abattoir
Bob Palmateer runs Palmateer’s Abattoir on the Crookston Road west of Tweed. He has a butcher shop there where one can buy fresh meat as well as frozen meats. He sells beef, pork lamb and buffalo as well as sausages, chicken, and smoked meats.
He come from a family of butchers and has been working in Tweed for 31 years. The bright new shop was built a year ago.
