The Root Cellar
The Root Cellar is on Highway 37 at Thomasburg. They specialize in cold-hardy nursery stock for Zones 4 and 5 (Canada) with a wide variety of fruit, shade and ornamental trees. There are flowering and evergreen landscaping shrubs, perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, patio containers and locally made garden accessories.
They have soil amendment materials and landscaping supplies in stock, seeds and bulbs. Staff cam give you advice about planting and helpful hints.
In the store they have fresh fruit and vegetables as the season progresses and at Halloween you can get your pick of the local pumpkin crop.
