Cyril and Isaballa Shaw are the fourth generation to live at the Shaw Farm on Keller's Bridge Road. They ran a dairy farm until the nineties and now concentrate on making maple syrup.
Charles Robinson comes from a United Empire Loyalist family that settles on Robinson Road near Eldorado in Madoc Township. He has lived and farmed there all his life. On the farm they produce hay and cash crops and maple syrup. He is now a Madoc Township councillor and has assisted with the phase-in of conservation-minded waste management procedures.
Mike and Linda Murphy farm on Murphy Road on the rolling hills south west of Tweed. They rear beef cattle, make hay, make maple syrup, grow potatoes and vegetables.
