Oliver and Renata Haan and their four children Rebecca, Jacob, Leah and Noah run Haanover View Farms near Marysville. Oliver grew up on the farm and he and Renata took over the pig farm when his parents Rolf and Christel Haan retired. They now have 70 sows of mixed Landrace, Yorkshire and Durock breeds and they rear the piglets for pork.
"We are an accoutable family farm, producing ecologically raised pork from just down the road," said Oliver Haan. They work hard to ensure value, flavour and peace of mind accompany each and every product they provide for you, your family and for friends and neighbours. "We use government inspected processing at nearby abbatoirs," said Oliver. They also try and source their farm inputs close to home as possible. "Our old school production methods ensure sustainability of our family farm for now and the future, as well as addressing concerns relating to who, how and where your food is being produced," saidOliver. The Haans selectively embrace in the innovative agricultral advances, which allows them to produce high quality products while reducing their environmental footprint. Oliver and Renata Haan says, "Our reward is your enjoyment of the fruits of our labour. We encourage open dialogue about our farm's vision and mission."
