Dan Navrot and Bea Heissler have an arable and vegetable farm called Natural Themes Farms near Frankford. They are growing vegetables as well as field crops. The farm isn't yet certified organic but they are farming organically.
For the season the following produce is available at the farmgate in Frankford: lettuce, cabbage (white, savoy, red), kohlrabi, beans, peas, onions, leeks, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, squash, zuchinni, brocoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, cantaloupe, watermelons, ornamental corn and gourds, pumpkins, eggplants, beets, hot peppers, okra, bitter melons, bok choy, celery, celeriac, and carrots. Bea and family grow chemical-free produce from Natural Themes Farms where she also grows and sells native plants from her Natural Themes Native Plant Nursery.
Produce is available by order at the farm or at the Trenton Farmers' Market from April to November.
