The 2013 asparagus season opens on May 6. Jack and Betty Ketcheson and their grandsons are expecting a wonderful season this year. have three acres of asparagus on their farm in Quinte West.
Jack Ketcheson is a soil scientist, who understands the importance of safeguarding the fertility of the soil and the need to protect agricultural soils. Jack Ketcheson designed the soil demonstration at Farmtown Park, Stirling, home of the agmuseum.
