There are eight Berkshire piglets for sale. Berkshire pigs are said to be "Britain's oldest pig breed", originally bred around the market-towns of Faringdon and Wantage, in the Vale of the White Horse in the English county of Berkshire. Berkshire pork, prized for juiciness, flavour and tenderness, is pink-hued and heavily marbled. Its high fat content makes it suitable for long cooking and high-temperature cooking.
We raise purebred unregistered and partbred Berkshire pigs.
We operate a 150 acre farm in beautiful Oak Hills, situated just 10 minutes north of Belleville and the 401. We raise Berkshire pigs, Katahdin sheep, Bronze turkeys, meat chickens and Peking ducks in a natural environment. All our livestock are fed on natural grains. No growth hormones or enhancers. Visitors welcome strictly by appointment only due to biosecurity measures.
