Over 15 strains certified organic garlic are grown at Railway Creek Farm. These range from the hot and strong Russian Red and Hungarian to the very mild and sweet Italian and Spanish Roja. These include nine varies of Rocomboles garlic which are the most popular of the hardneck varieties, one strain of Purple Stripes, one strain of Porcelain, and one of Mennonite.
TRailway Creek Farm is famous for its Mennonite garlic, an all purpose, large garlic. Some varieites are suitable for raw eating, salade dressings and simple sauces.
