Sheep, Tunis

Wendy Pullan and Bruce Whyte have Tunis sheep. Tunis is an ancient heritage breed of fat tail sheep from North Africa and the middle East, which have been in the United States since the eighteenth century. They are a pretty colour of mahogony red with dark faces and the wool when spun is a champaigne colour. The lambs are also reared for meat.
