There is lots to see and new, local products to buy. “We are an east central Ontario apple grower and retailer selling a wide variety of Ontario apples,” said Diana McPherson. “We think it is important to keep growing Ontario’s 15 favorite apples.” Diana can advise you on which varieties are best for baking, apple sauce and eating. She is very knowledgeable.

Along side selling apples they bake bread each day, using local, organic flours and also make a delicious variety of pies and pastries. They are famous for their home made fudge, which they pack in lovely gift boxes. You can buy all your local meat at Grills Orchards; beef from Russett Farms, pork for Haanover farms and Springbrook Farm, and lamb from Kupecz Family Farms. The McPhersons rear their own chicken and turkeys and will take orders for them. They are also growing vegetables. You can find honey from Consecon and maple syrup from Fosterholm Farms and locally made jams. There are beeswax candles and Jackie Harder’s pottery as well as a range of knitting yarns and alpaca products from Amazing Graze Alpaca. They have local cheeses from Black River and Maple Dale, and award winning cider from cider from Delhaven Farm, Blenheim, Ontario

Randy and Diana McPherson welcome you to Grills Orchards, west of Belleville, just north of Hwy. 401. Grills Orchards has been serving customers in the Quinte area for over 80 years.

“Through out the year we have fresh produce in season, including vegetables and squash. We also stock local maple syrup, honey, jams, jellies, salsa, relish and apple butter. Some products are sugar free. They now have their own line of fudge. Look for local arts and crafts. Grills Orchards is a member of the Hastings County Arts Route.

“We support Ontario farms. The produce and apples we sell come for our farm and from local farmers in Hastings County, Prince Edward County and south western Ontario.
Grills Orchards is open for Sunday shopping and is wheelchair accessible. It is open all the year round. Grills Orchard is just a few minutes west of Wallbridge Loyalist.”
