Strawberries

The Heisslers grow strawberries, raspberries and gooseberries without using chemicals. You can buy soft fruit at the farm gate or at the Campbellford Farmers' Market.

Strawberries are ripening fast and there are many farms you can go to to buy strawberries either ready picked or pick your own. Unfortunately Beckett Farms at Welmans Corner, Stirling-Rawdon are no longer growing strawberries but there are lots of other farms.

Strawberry Social, Hastings County Museum of Agricultural Hertage

The Hastings County Museum of Agricultural Heritage host the annual Strawberry Social on Sunday, June 28 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Harvest Hastings is a community-run project that promotes access to local and sustainable agriculture.
