Hastings Stewardship Council Announces Heritage Tree Calendar

December 20, 2010 by Louise Livingstone

The Hastings Stewardship Council will be producing a birthday calendar in order to identify heritage and noteworthy trees within Hastings County. A birthday calendar is a calendar used from year to year to record birthdays, anniversaries and special events. It does not have a year or days of the week, therefore can be used indefinitely. The Stewardship Council feels that the calendar will help to raise awareness and contribute to the maintenance of the unique, natural and rural character of Hasting County.

Harvest Hastings is a community-run project that promotes access to local and sustainable agriculture.
