Community Trees 2012

The Community Tree 2012 is supported by Tweed, Tyendinage, Desoronto, Centre Hastings, Stirling-Rawdon, Marmora nad Lake and the City of Belleville. The Hastings Stewardship Council is committed to sustainable forest management throughout Hastings County and already has established programs for tree planting and forest extension services. As a component of our regular activities we want to foster the care and establishment of urban forests in our villages, hamlets and cities. 

Trees will be available at the following locations and dates:

Saturday April 14: Roslin Post office and Tyendinaga Municipal office in Melrose 9 am until noon

Sunday, April 15: Art Centre, Centre Hastings Park in Madoc 9 am until noon

Saturday, April 21, Tweed Memorial Park on Stoco Lake 9 am until noon

Saturday, April 21Deseronto Rathbun Park (behind town hall) 9 am until noon

Sunday, April 22, City of Belleville Market Square 8 am until noon

Saturday, April 28, Marmora Memorial Park (Highway # 7) 9 am until noon

Saturday, April 28, Stirling Covered Bridge 9 am until noon with Hastings County 4H Sustainability Club
