Thank you to everyone who has submitted their Harvest Hastings member listing! You can still be a part of our 2021 Eat. Buy. Live Local! magazine by getting listed in our new user-friendly product directory! Email us by Friday, May 14 to let us know your contact information and what product categories your business falls under from these charts — From the Barn, From the Field and From the Forest!

We will also include how customers can buy your products — e.g. online sales, CSA shares, farm stand or storefront. Are we missing anything? Please share your ideas with us! Email Karen at [email protected]

  1. We are still accepting submissions for our cover photo contest! The contest deadline is TOMORROW, Monday, May 10th.
  2. The National Farmers Union – Ontario is seeking respondents for their Farm Labour Survey! “This project is looking at the farm labour shortage and related issues in the province. It focuses on the small and mid-sized farms that form the backbone of local food systems.” You can complete the survey here.
