Farming, and the rural community, in Hastings County is in a transition. There are both opportunities and threats. Dr Peter Andree, Carleton University, describes what he and Kimberley Bittermann found out from talking with over 25 farmers and officials. They have made 14 recommendations in The Future of Farming In Hastings County report, which were discussed at a workshop in Stirling on November 4.  The video shows Peter Andre describing the research and the recommendations that were talked about at the workshop.
