Langevin Farms are run by Don and Chris Langevin. They rear Simmental beef cattle on their farm near Tweed. The Simmental breed dates back to the Middle Ages. They originally came from Switzerland and were introduced into Canada in 1967. They are excellent both for milk production and beef. They farm with their daughter Kara and son in law Darold of the Enright Cattle Company. The calves are born on the Enright Farm and come to the neighbouring Langevin Farm after they are weaned.
