Dan Navrot and Beate Heissler have a native plant nursery and market gardening operation, Natural Themes Farms, near Stockdale. They farm organically without using chemicals but are not certified.

For the season the following produce is available at the farmgate and at the Front Street Farmers' Market in Quinte West: salad greens, mixed kale. mixed lettuce, stirfry mix, oriental greens, green onions and herbs from March to the end of December as well as many other fruits and vegetables as they come into season including garlic, peas, carrots, string beans, broadbeans, leeks, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, summber and winter squash, brocoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, cantaloupe, watermelons,  pumpkins, eggplants, beets, hot peppers, okra, bitter melons, celeriac, and radishes. Visit for native trees, shrubs, wildflowers, ferns, grasses and vines for naturalization projects, pollinator and butterfly gardens, etc.

Produce is available by order at the farm or at the Front Street Farmers' Market in Trenton from May to end of October.
