Last year Hastings County partnered with Northumberland and neighbouring counties to complete a Regional Local Food Business Retention and Expansion (BR+E) project, the first of its kind. The project would offer several jurisdictions and participants the opportunity to work together towards the betterment of our local food producers, processors and retailers/restaurants.
