On Thursday May 29th, over 230 students attended Forestry Day, an event hosted by the Bancroft Area Forest Industry Association to teach students the complexities of forest management in their local community. Forestry Day provided students with hands-on experiences and gave them an opportunity to gain an understanding of how forest management and sustainable forestry practices are carried out in the Bancroft region.
