BAFIA, Bancroft Area Forest Industry Association hosted the third Bancroft Forestry Day for Grade 7 and 8 students at O’Hara Mill Homestead, Madoc in May 3015. Over 300 student learned about sustainable forest management, the importance of forests and the role trees play in mitigating climate change. The Ontario Trillium Foundation made the event possible.
