Through our partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Evergreen will facilitate the planting of 100,000 native trees and shrubs in 2008 and 2009. Check out our online
Tree Tally to see how we’re doing so far.
The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) has set up a Website to encourage everyone to plant trees either on their own property or through organizations such as Evergreen. This interactive Website Plant a Tree allows people to enter
the number of trees they’ve planted, tell why they’re planting trees, and give their success stories. Evergreen will be contributing to MNR’s tree counter on a regular basis.
