Tweed – Harvest Hastings is a three-year project aimed at increasing the availability of local food in Hastings County and on Wednesday, March 18, it was announced that they have received $100,000 from the provincial government. The $100,000 is part of a four-year $12-million Ontario Market Investment Fund which was designed to help develop economic opportunities through trade events, marketing campaigns, and industry research initiatives that promote Ontario foods.
