Canada’s hemp industry wants to create its own levy-funded research agency.
In a notice dated Oct. 13 that it submitted to the Farm Products Council of Canada — and which was published in the Canada Gazette — the Canadian Hemp Producers said it wants permission to create the Canadian Industrial Hemp Promotion and Research Agency.
