Pure 62 Local: Yearwood Family Sugarbush is a family owned and operated business offering authentic, single origin, local, products. We specialize in Maple and Honey products that are available in a variety of grades and sizes year round. We offer both guided and self-guided tours of our sugar shack and sugar bush and also welcome educational school and group visits upon request. We also offer cedar lumber in the form of raw posts and logs and can accomodate some firewood orders.
What started as 150 taps in a woodshed on a 2×4 evaporator has grown substantially over the past three years to almost 1500 taps with a 3×12 evaporator and a host of high efficiency processing equipment as well as a building we can host visitors in and share the experience with all our supporters. We cannot thank everyone enough for all the support and encouragement as well as trusting our products and investing your hard earned money into our family business. We are not shy to tell you that the money you spend on our products has continually been reinvested into our farm to help us produce enough product to keep availability year round as well as ensure it’s production is in accordance with all food quality and sanitary regulations.

Our goal is to provide full product transparency and to complete the loop between consumer and producer by giving each of you full access to where our products come from and how they are produced. We are looking forward to having visitors and being able to share with you what we are doing here at our property.
If you like what we stand for we’d be honoured if you’d like and share our page for others to see what we’re all about. You can follow us on both Instagram (@theyearwoods).
Be sure to look for our timber frame sign along Hwy 62 between Ivanhoe and Madoc during maple season and stop in! We’d love to get to know our supporters and share the experience with you
