Tweed – If you are considering tree planting next spring, the time to start planning is now!
The Hastings Stewardship Council along with Trees Ontario have planted over 100,000 tree seedlings through 2008 -2009 and are working with local agencies to deliver the 50 million tree program in the Quinte area. Tree seedlings have been ordered and funding assistance is available to landowners willing to participate in tree planting.
