When it came time to help those in need, the Northumberland Quinte Pork Producers went whole hog.
On Friday representatives from the group dropped off close to 200 lbs of fresh-cut pork — all from the same animal — at The Salvation Army for use in its meal programs.
The Salvation Army provides a variety of services to community members in need, including thousands of meals served through meal programs and an emergency food bank.
