Wireless internet highway built for speed

Access to high speed internet to Quinte region residents is ahead of schedule. That’s the message — quickly delivered — to Quinte West city council Monday by Hastings County CAO Jim Pine. It means nearly 80,000 homes and businesses in Quinte-Loyalist sector will receive wireless, high speed internet earlier than expected. The Quinte-Loyalist sector includes Quinte West, Central Hastings, Belleville, Prince Edward County and parts of Northumberland, Lennox and Addington and Frontenac counties.
