This video is about heating a large building in the Highlands of Scotland using a wood chip boiler. Wood chips require less processing than pellets. It is made by Highland Birchwoods, originally established to enhance the role of native woodlands in the Highland landscape, economy and wider culture and we are still primarily concerned with the development and management of functional woodland ecosystems which support functional local communities.
