Doug Alcock started his business a few years ago when he was short of firewood one cold winter’s day and realized there is a demand for a reliable source of firewood. He processes about 280 bush cords a year for clients around Marmora and the southern Hastings County area. He has a wood processor that cuts and splits about 1.5 bush cord an hour. Located 3 km west of Marmora on highway #7, you can purchase hardwood, campfire wood and campfire candles.
