Doug Duncan, a self employed contractor, is a professional forest technician with 35 years of experience. He is a Certified Tree Marker for both soft and hardwood species, who can help woodlot owners’ determine the over all health and viability of their woodlots, determine the tree volume to be harvested and can mark the trees to be felled.
After graduating from Sault College, Doug worked for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) around Ontario, doing surveying, tree planting and marking, and spent time in Sault St Marie at the Ontario Forest Research Institute. About 17 years ago, he and his family moved to the Stirling area where they have their own woodlot.
